High-Resolution Microscopy Workshop
It was held the “High-Resolution Microscopy Workshop” from October 17 to 22 of 2016, in Lisbon (Museu do Oriente and iMM) with the main purpose to improve ReTuBi members’ skills in fluorescent microscopy, image analysis and data processing in order to potentiate individual research projects. The workshop involved a hands-on workshop during 5 days aimed at 15 participants (master, doctoral or post-doctoral fellows). The workshop was preceded by a full day conference where an international group of scientists gave inspirational talks to promote discussion around the importance of using quantitative fluorescence microscopy in cancer research.
Staff exchange between iMM-Curie (2016/09)
On September 2016, Mafalda Pimentel from Edgar Gomes Lab (iMM) made a “ReTuBi Staff Exchange” to Mathieu Piel Lab (Institut Curie) to gain expertize in automated 3D image analysis and to discuss possible ways of adapting the current 2D imaging analysis tools developed at IMM in order to integrate 3D information. This staff exchange was very useful for automating and validating the analysis of big data sets such as RNA fish for multiple genes.
Staff exchange between iMM-Curie (2016/06)
On June 2016, Patrícia Costa from Egdar Gomes Lab (iMM) made a “ReTuBi Staff Exchange” to Mathieu Piel Lab (Institut Curie) to learn a demonstration on an equipment and to exchange knowledge with researchers that are already using this technology.
Staff exchange between iMM-Curie (2016/05)
On May of 2016, Anna Pezzarossa from Edgar Gomes Lab (iMM) made a “ReTuBi Staff Exchange” to Matthieu Piel, Danijela Vignjevic, Philippe Chavrier, Jean Salamero and Bruno Goud Lab (Institut Curie) to learn a new technique for image and data analysis to be implemented in IMM.
